How do I wire the push button for my AV-400 RRFB?
Instructions for wiring different types of pedestrian push buttons to the AV-400 system.
The Polara iNX push button requires an optional wiring kit that consists of two separate harnesses, in addition to the main AV-400 harness that is already part of the solar engine.
-
Harness 1 — Lightbar to LIGHTS terminals (blue arrow)
A simple two-conductor wire with bare ends on both sides. One end connects to the lightbar; the other end connects to the LIGHTS terminals on the iNX push button.
-
Harness 2 — Battery to PWR and GND terminals (red arrow)
A two-conductor wire with quick-connect connectors on one end that attach directly to one of the AV-400 batteries, and bare ends on the other that connect to the PWR and GND terminals on the iNX push button.

Main AV-400 harness — Push button wires (green arrow)
The push button wires are already part of the main AV-400 solar engine harness — no additional wire is required for this connection. These wires connect to the push button input on the iNX.
